Ted Kennedy died late Tuesday night, August 25th after being diagnosed with brain cancer back on May 20, 2008. He was born on February 22, 1932 at 3:58 AM in Brookline MA and his chart is indeed revealing. I have constructed a triple wheel, with the inside the natal chart; the middle the relocated progressed chart for the time he got the dreaded news, and  outer wheel is for the transits for that day.

First of all, we see that his progressed Uranus squares his natal and progressed Pluto. The electrical impulses of Uranus tells us that he suddenly had seizures, and the Pluto connection tells us that this was a life and death situation. The number 16, the degree of his natal Uranus became prominent last year, as in the method of deduction I use which consists of subtracting and reducing the number of his age down (he was 76 then, so we use 30 because there are 30 degrees in a sign. We get close to someone's age by using increments of 30, so in his case it equates to 30 plus 30 which equals 60, and the number 16 is what is left over, and any planet or house cusp number at that number becomes prominent for that year. So something Uranian (sudden) would happen to his him (in Aries) involving his head..Next, notice that his progressed Sun (Sun rules the 8th house of life and death) was coming up to conjoin his natal Chiron (the wounded healer) which has a health implication. Furthermore, progressed Chiron makes a T-square to the 2nd and 8th house cusps, with transiting Venus triggering it a few days before that, when he had his first seizures. Next we see that his progressed Venus in the 6th house of health opposed transiting Pluto in the 12th house of hospitals.On the day he got the news, transiting Mercury conjoined the natal 6th house of health, with the progressed Moon only a degree earlier. Also on that day, the Sun went into Gemini and conjoined his 5th house cusp, and was coming up to form a T-square with transiting Saturn in the 8th house, and his natal Sun. The Moon that day at noon was 6 Sagittarius 17 and squared his natal Moon and retrograde Neptune.

The next chart is also a triple chart which is progressed for the day he died, with the transits added for then also. After putting up a valiant fight for over a year, the two eclipses we had recently were impossible to overcome. The Solar eclipse on July 22nd closely opposed his natal Saturn in his 1st house. And the Lunar eclipse on August 6th fell in his 1st house and closely opposed his progressed Jupiter.  Furthermore, the new Moon on August 20 at 27 Leo 32 closely opposed his natal Mercury. When Kennedy died, his progressed Sun was coming up to square transiting Jupiter in his 1st house. Progressed Mars formed a T-square to the transiting nodes, and transiting Venus came up to 29 degrees of Cancer to trigger the Solar eclipse of July 22nd at that degree which of course, opposed his natal Saturn in his 1st house. And remember the Sun ruled his 8th house of death. So that was a pretty prominent timer!  Finally, Mars went into Cancer and not only triggered the Venus, Pluto opposition of last year, but on the night he died, it formed a T-square to transiting Mercury which just entered Libra. Finally, this year, the number 17 was prominent, as he was 77 years old which equates to (30 plus 30 plus 17 left over. So that correlates to the time he died, that is when the transiting Moon came  up to 17 degrees of Scorpio (the sign of life and death) in his 10th house, and shortly after that, the world was told of his passing.
