Just a few
comments for
any of you
sports fans
out there that
have been
following the
saga of Brett Favre..As a former Wisconsinite and
Favre fan, I am very disappointed that he won't be
coming back to play in Green Bay this year. It is
interesting to see how his chart bears out all of the
turmoil he, and everyone else has been going
through as this story unfolded.
Back in March, when he retired, transiting Jupiter at
16 and 17 degrees of Capricorn (the Packer business
execs) was squaring his natal Jupiter and Sun at those
degrees in Libra in his 10th house. Jupiter went
retrograde in May, and the second and third week of
July came back to 16 And 17 degrees of Capricorn to
square his Jupiter and Sun again.
But by that time, when he decided he wanted to play
again this year, the Packer management had finally
given up on him and had moved on with
replacements. Remember, Capricorn is strictly all
about business. Libra planets need to feel loved and
appreciated, and the square explains why he said
they just didn't make him feel wanted or appreciated
anymore, which this aspect confirms, and he was
certainly right about that! However, making a
decision and sticking to it is sometimes hard for
Libra's to do, and we sure have seen Brett vacillate
over retiring for the last few years!
His progressed chart spells out the rest of the
scenario. His ascendant is 21 Pisces 53 which his
progressed Moon conjoins; so no wonder he was
reported to be very emotional, and his feelings were
indeed deeply hurt because of how he was treated
when he got back to Green Bay. Add to that, which
complicates and confuses matters even more is
transiting Uranus which is sitting right there also at
22 Pisces and retrograde. This ties into all of the
unpredictability and uncertainly of the whole
situation.
But finally yesterday afternoon, as Mars opposed
Uranus, it was announced that they couldn't come to
an agreement after all, and that Brett would not play
for the Packers. This was a crushing blow to his loyal
fans who were hoping that they could work out their
differences and that somehow he would be back to
play for another year. So, at any rate, he got on a
plane, left Green Bay, and flew back to Mississippi.
At the same time Venus moved into Virgo, and late
last night (Wednesday the 6th), as it was applying to
a trine to his progressed 2nd house cusp (money) at
1 Taurus 38, and as the Sun conjoined his progressed
6th house of work at 15 degrees of Leo, a deal was
struck, and it was announced that Brett was traded to
the New York Jets.
So today (Thursday) he was flown out to New York to
see their new stadium, and to go on to meet his new
coaches and teammates at the game they are playing in
Cleveland. And on Friday, Venus at 3 degrees of Virgo
trines his progressed Saturn at 3 Taurus 52 R. also in
his 2nd house of money which allows him to move on
to the next chapter in his career, and says finally,
"LET THE GAMES BEGIN!"
