After three big wins in Tuesday's Potomac primaries, on February 12, Barack Obama led Hillary Clinton in the delegate count by 25 votes. More importantly, he is attracting the types of voters Hillary Clinton has been counting on. So what’s happening that explains how this young Jr. Senator from Illinois has come out of nowhere and is cleaning Clinton’s clock?

A look at his chart and the changing patterns in the sky tells the story. Keep in mind that Pluto, the planet of transformation, went into Capricorn, the sign of the established, status quo on January 25^th. Hillary, who previously was doing so well, is a Scorpio. So her Sun sign ruler has now changed signs. And if you think of Pluto as throwing over the establishment, which she definitely is a part of, that could certainly point to her.

The only statements I heard Obama make were certainly in character with it also. He was talking about how much money the CEO’S of our giant corporations make, which is way out of line, and also that they get the biggest tax breaks to boot; and that this is unfair to all of the working class people that are taxed to the hilt. Doesn’t that sound like changes are in store along those lines with Pluto in Capricorn?

Pluto takes 248 years to make one revolution around the Sun. So the last time Pluto was in Capricorn was from November 21, 1762 to January 25, 1778. The discontent of the colonists started in 1763 as the King of England began to raise taxes to pay for the French and Indian wars. It escalated from there with more and more taxes being levied against the colonists, and more individual rights taken away from them, which finally led to the Revolutionary War. With Pluto in Capricorn once again, and with the massive debt we continue to incur, will higher taxes and less freedom be in our future also; and what might that lead to?

Barack Obama was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu HI. It is said that astrologer Francis McEvoy reported that he was born at 1:05:58 PM, but evidently that statement was disputed by her. I think this could be the correct time, however; and I will tell you why shortly.
I did a natal chart for Honolulu; relocated it for Washington, DC, and progressed it up to the  today, February 16...and added the transits for today also.

                                                   

One of the most noticeable transits he has is his progressed Sun at 27 Virgo16 in the 11^th house of politics trining his progressed Jupiter at 27 Capricorn 20 R. in the 3^rd. And at about the time that the transiting Sun came up to 27 Capricorn on the 18^th of January in the communicative 3^rd house to emphasize that trine, it put him in the spotlight. People really started to be impressed by what he was saying. Progressed Saturn at 23 Capricorn 17 R is trining his natal Mars at 22 Virgo 25, also from the 3^rd to the 11^th houses. In the last month, also in his 3^rd house, his progressed Moon has conjoined his natal Jupiter at 00 Aquarius 53 R., and is now trining his natal Moon at 00 Gemini 01 in the 7^th house; winning over many women that Hillary was counting on for support. His natal Uranus (sudden) at 25 Leo 15 is conjoined by the progressed North node at 25 Leo 27 R right near his midheaven.

This brings in another interesting dimension. He has some important ties to the U.S. chart I follow; the one for the signing of the Articles of Confederation which happened on November 15, 1777 at 12:46 PM in York, Pennsylvania

                                                

Notice that his Uranus and progressed north node near his midheaven conjoin the U. S. Jupiter, also at 25 Leo 45. Obama’s natal Neptune at 08 Scorpio 36 in his 12^th house conjoins the U.S. Saturn at that degree in the U.S. 8^th house, and his progressed Neptune at 09 Scorpio 31 conjoins natal U.S. Mercury at that degree also. So he is bringing out a lot of the hidden injustices that go on behind the scenes.

His progressed Jupiter at 27 Capricorn 20 R conjoins the U.S. Pluto at 28 Capricorn 01, and goes on to trine the midpoint of the U.S. natal and progressed Neptune in the U.S. 7^th house. 

Obama’s progressed Moon at 01 Aquarius 46 conjoins the U.S. progressed Pluto at that degree in the U.S. 12^th house, which go on to conjoin the U.S. natal Moon at 02 Gemini 44 in the 3^rd house of communication; and both trine his own natal Moon at 00 Gemini 01 in his 7^th house. When I first started to study astrology many years ago, I learned that Pluto rules African Americans; so perhaps destiny has sent Barack Obama to deal with the changing influences that Pluto will have in the years ahead for our country!

The reason I think this time of birth is correct is that in Obama’s chart after his next birthday on August 4^th, the number 17 is going to be prominent in his life, and this will accent his 1^st, 7^th, 3^rd and 9^th house cusps. This is shown be using what I call the Age Arc method. That is you change all of the numbers in a chart to corresponding ages, and when you get to 30, you add the original number to it, which gets you to the middle years in a life. So, for example, on his next birthday, he will be 47 years old. So subtract 30 from that to reduce it down, and we come up with the number 17. So wherever he has that number (the house cusps I already mentioned) will be strongly emphasized for that following year.

Furthermore, right now, transiting Uranus at 17 Pisces 46 is trining Obama’s natal ascendant at 17 Scorpio 30 which is suddenly highlighting his sensual charisma!

                                                       
It goes retrograde, but at the time of the election, Uranus will be back to 18 Pisces again. So with all things considered, will he be propelled into being “the man of the hour?”
