After writing numerous articles using the U.S. chart I follow - that is for the signing of the Articles of Confederation which took place on November 15, 1777 at 12:46 PM in York Pennsylvania, I saw some interesting correlations between it and famous people and important events that shaped the fabric of our country. People came into this lifetime even before our country was born with an astrological connection to it, and later played an important part in shaping the course and direction of our nation.
My first example is George Washington, America's first and greatest hero. His efforts were crucial in the establishment of the United States as a nation. He was born on Feb.22, 1732 in Colonial Beach VA. As our first president, he held our fragile country together because of his political wisdom, common sense and patience.
I have constructed by wheels of all of the people I will talk about; with the inside, the U.S. chart, and the outside the natal chart of the individual. With Washington's Mars conjunct the natal U.S. Sun (father), he is known as the Father of our Country, however, it goes on to form a T-square with the U.S. 1st and 7th house cusps, as well as the U.S. Jupiter in the sign of children, and ironically enough, he never had any children of his own.
His strong Martian energy allowed him to keep plugging along until he win the Revolutionary War, although there were times when money was so scarce (the open end of the T-square was Taurus (money) that he thought he couldn't go on and almost threw in the towel.
However, with the U.S. Jupiter trine to Washington's north node in the foreign sign of Sagittarius, the French came to his aid just in the nick of time. This aspect was also a clue as to how beneficial he would become for new fledgling nation. Of all the founding fathers, at 6' 3" he was the most athletic, the most adventurous and clearly a man of action.
His Venus opposed U.S. Neptune, which correlates to him losing a fortune while he was away running the country's affairs, and ignoring his own personal business.
Throughout most of George Washington's life, he had problems of continuing deterioration of his teeth. This caused him a lot of pain, and none of the dentists he went to knew what to do besides take them out. So from the age of 22, slowly but surely all of Washington's teeth were extracted. Finally, he had to have false teeth made. They were thought to made out of hippopotamus ivory and cow's tooth, carved by hand, and held in his mouth with metal springs.
However, recently, laser scans on one of the four known sets of Washington's dentures revealed that they were made from gold, ivory, lead, human and animal teeth (horse and donkey teeth were common components), and were not made out of wood, as formerly believed.
This ties into his Sun in Pisces, the sign of suffering square to the U.S. Moon (the public) in Gemini, the sign of communication. His false teeth were a little large for his mouth, creating a peculiar expression, which is exhibited in many of his portraits. So with these uncomfortable gadgets in his mouth, it must have been at the very least, awkward for him to talk.
His Jupiter in Libra, the sign of diplomacy, just shy of the U.S. 8th house cusp shows how he kept our new nation out of disputes with some powerful opposing political factions, as well as other warring countries. And by the time Washington left office, in 1797, the country's financial system was well established.
Washington's Neptune conjunct the U.S. Uranus in Gemini in the fourth house tells us how he forged the foundation of our new nation through his strong faith and total belief in the principles of liberty for all. Although there were times that the war was going so badly, he almost threw in the sponge.
His Uranus near the midheaven of the U.S. chart is the clue that he would not be a king, as tradition would dictate, but a new system would be put into place whereby he would be the president.
George Washington died at the age of 67 in 1799. In his will, he emancipated his slaves, and at his funeral oration delivered by Henry Lee, he stated that of all Americans, Washington was "first in war, first in peace, and first in the hearts of his countrymen".
My next example is Daniel Boone, who will forever be synonymous with the saga of the American frontier and was one of the first folk heroes of the United States. Boone was the inveterate wayfarer who achieved lasting fame guiding land-hungry settlers to the Kentucky frontier, which was outside of the thirteen colonies. He also helped them in their fight against Indian attacks. He and his axmen blazed the trail through 200 miles of Tennessee, Virginia and Kentucky Wilderness in 1775, to forge a route for settlement of the region beyond the Appalachian Mountains. Today a four hour driving tour through three counties covers the route of Daniel Boone's famous Wilderness Trail. After leaving Bristol, visitors may join the Daniel Boone Wilderness Trail on Bloomingdale Road which leads to Anderson Blockhouse, and assembly point for thousands who used the Wilderness Trail.
Boone was born on November 2, 1734 in a log farmhouse in Exeter, Pennsylvania where he was raised. Below is a bywheel. Again, the outside chart is Boone's, and the inside is the U.S. natal chart, and his natal chart has has some amazing correlation to it also. Boone's Mercury conjoins the future U.S. Sun and was also part of the aforementioned U.S. T-square. In his case, the afflicted Jupiter (foreign) part of it in Leo (children) ties into the fact that his son, James was captured by the Indians and was gruesomely tortured to death. However, his trekking (Mercury) helped enormously in establishing our powerful nation.
His Pluto conjoins the future U.S. Venus, which goes on to form a grand trine with his his own Venus, Neptune, Mars, and the future U. S. 1st house cusp.
His Sun is only a degree past the future U.S. Mercury and 9th house cusp, goes on to opposes his Saturn near the future U.S. 3rd house cusp. This opposition near the cusps of the travel houses tie into the difficulty he had in blazing his trail through dangerous wilderness. However, because of his persistence Saturn), before the end of the 18th century, more than 2000,000 people entered Kentucky by following the route marked by Boone.
His Moon, (which only moves six degrees in a day), at noon, is somewhere near the future U.S. Pluto, which goes on to trine the future U.S. Neptune..hence he became an important and unforgettable figure in American history.
My next example is Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb.12, 1809 at 7:20 A.M. in Hodgenville, Kentucky. He was the 16th American president, and his Sun in Aquarius ties into the previously mentioned U.S. Solar T-square. The U.S. Jupiter in Leo(children). in his case sadly correlates to the fact that he had four children, but only one lived to adulthood. With his Saturn opposing the U.S. Moon, his tenure in office was occupied primarily with the defeat of the secessionist Confederate States of America in the Civil War. He introduced measures that resulted in the abolition of slavery, issuing his Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 and promoting the passage of the Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution. The number 13 ties into his Pluto trining the U.S. 9th house cusp at 13 degrees.
His Uranus conjoined the U.S. Mercury and went onto trine his own Mercury. His famous Gettysburg Address is an example of this aspect. He said "Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. This is the most quoted speech in American history! In a speech to Congress, Lincoln said "A house divided against itself cannot stand."
The 7 degrees of his Venus relates to the 7 Lincoln Douglas debates that he had published into a book. The subsequent popularity of it led eventually to Lincoln's nomination for the Presidency in the 1860 Republican National Convention in Chicago.
Lincoln's Jupiter in the religious sign of Pisces trines the U.S. Sun which is reflected by his wife as she said "From the time of the death of our little Edward, I believe my husband's heart was directed towards religion and as time passed on - when Mr. Lincoln became elevated to Office - with the care of a great Nation, upon his shoulders - when devastating war was upon us then indeed to my knowledge - did his great heart go up daily, hourly, in prayer to God - for his sustaining power. When too - the overwhelming sorrow came upon us, our beautiful bright angelic boy, Willie was called away from us, to his Heavenly Home, with God's chastising hand upon us - he turned his heart to Christ.
As the civil war was drawing to a close, Lincoln became the first American president to be assassinated. No doubt, the T-square with his Sun involved. The U.S. Jupiter in Leo (entertainment) part of it tells us that it happened in theater as he was watching a play.
Finally, his Moon trines the U.S. Neptune, which will ensure his place in our history forever!
I am jumping way ahead in time now because of the similarities between the next person and Abraham Lincoln's chart. And that is John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the U.S., who was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline Massachusetts at 3:15 P.M. The T-square that we saw in Lincoln's chart is even more intensified in Kennedy's chart. The aforementioned U.S. T square is intensified by Kennedy's Jupiter at 23 degrees of Taurus; which goes on to form a fixed grand square. We can see now that this ominous harbinger of things to come can also be seen as an appointment with assassination!
His ascendant formed a grand trine as it conjoined the U.S. Venus, trined his Uranus, which conjoined the U.S. ascendant, and his own Venus at 16 Gemini 45; some 5 degrees behind. No wonder he was known for his charisma, and few presidents have captured the fascination of the world, as he did! This combination gave him charm, grace, and a beautiful image. It also contributed to his great popularity-globally, socially, and privately. The Kennedy s revived the Authurian Romance Camelot, and it was transplanted to the White House. With his well aspected Uranus, he boldly declared that in the decade of the 1960's, an American would land on the Moon.
Kennedy's part of fortune conjoined the U.S. Mercury. This served him well; as during World War 11 while commanding a PT boat in the Solomon islands, it was sunk by a Japanese destroyer. He managed to get the survivors to an island, and towed a wounded man three miles through the seas. For several days, he risked his life repeatedly and finally found some friendly natives who got them help. For his heroism, he received the Purple Heart and the Navy and Marine Corps Medal.
The part of fortune conjunct the U.S. Mercury in Scorpio served him well also during the Cuban Crisis. With time running out for Kennedy to get Khrushchev to remove his missiles from Cuba, he sent his Scorpio brother Bobby to negotiate with the Russian ambassador. He used diplomacy successfully, but also led them to believe that if they didn't back down, the military might overthrow the president, take over, and nuke them. Of course, this would have never happened, but the Russians bought into the veiled threat! So for an anxious week the world waited as the threat of thermonuclear war cast it shadow, "We're eyeball to eyeball," the then Secretary of State Dean Rusk said, "and I think the other guy just blinked." After this severe confrontation, this aspect went on to allow Kennedy to get a nuclear test ban treaty signed in 1963 which brought about a relaxation in cold war tensions.
Kennedy's north node conjoined the U.S. Mars and U.S. south node, and was opposed to the U.S. north node and the U.S. progressed Moon. Mars rules steel, and his action on a proposed steel price increase in 1962 resulted in one of the most controversial domestic issues of his administration. He got the steel companies to back down in the end, but in the aftermath, businessmen widely criticized him for being hostile to them.
Kennedy's Saturn (father) opposed the U.S. Pluto and it is interesting that when his father Joe was younger, he had his eye on the presidency for himself. But before World War 11 started, he defended Hitler and lost favor with President Roosevelt. This aspect also ties into the fact that the civil rights issue was the most challenging domestic problem for Kennedy at home. He sent federal marshals and and the national guard to Mississippi to restore order and enforce integration at the University of Mississippi. This resulted in a white anti-Kennedy backlash in the South, directed not only at the president , but also at his brother Robert, who was the attorney general. President Kennedy was assassinated on November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas, so his civil rights policies never had a chance to come to fruition in his lifetime. This is also attested to by the T-square of his natal Pluto conjoining the progressed U.S. north node which of course went on to oppose the U.S. south node, and the natal and progressed U.S. Transpluto.
This brings us back to to the similar aspects we saw in Kennedy's chart, the aforementioned U.S. Solar T-square and Lincoln's chart. Southerners also hated him, and there were six known attempts on Lincoln's life. The Kennedy's also tragically lost a child; their newborn son Patrick Bouvier Kennedy in August of 1963. Lincoln won the election mainly because of his famous Lincoln Douglas debates, and Kennedy, the brilliant Gemini, won the election mainly because of his debates with Richard Nixon on TV.
There are so many similarities between the two presidents, I have decided that John Kennedy was the reincarnation of Abraham Lincoln. If you want to read more about it, go to my article ...THE REAL U.S CHART... on this site.
The next person on my list is our current president Barack Obama. He was born on August 4, 1961 at 7:24 PM in Honolulu, Hawaii. The scary thing we see how his planets connect to the aforementioned Solar T-square in the U.S. chart; as his Uranus (politics) and north node conjoins the U.S. Jupiter, and his ascendant is near the U.S. ascendant.
Plus his Neptune conjoins the U.S. Saturn and Mercury near the 9th house cusp, and go on to T-square his Sun, Transpluto, and the 3rd house cusp.
The Solar Eclipse is coming up in the next day or so at 29 Cancer 27, and opposes his Saturn, from the 6th to the 12th houses, and his health plan seems to be hitting a brick wall.
His Mercury in Leo (children) trines the U.S. Transpluto, so he is trying to get more money for needy children in the country, but with his Venus square the U.S. Transpluto in the U.S. 2nd house of finances, he's having a hard time selling his programs because of a lack of money. With all of the problems we are having these days in the country, he is really having a rough time trying to do his job!
But getting back to his scary connection to the aforementioned U.S. Solar T- square; we have just seen what happened recently to someone else with a similar connection to it. I don't consider him a hero, but millions of people in the world do. And that is Michael Jackson. And this is his chart. We see that the fixed grand square he had that connected to the U.S. chart was very much like John Kennedy's chart.
So, in light of the charts we have already looked at, hopefully in the days to come, President Obama will have plenty of human and divine protection surrounding him, in order to keep him safe!
